AUXILIARY LODGE

The Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary is an ancillary organization of the Fraternal Order of Police made up of family members of FOP members and others associated with a Local Lodge.

On September 11, 2024, Lebanon Lodge No. 42, Fraternal Order of Police, approved and authorized the formation of the Auxiliary Lodge. The purpose of the Auxiliary Lodge is summed up in our motto, "Never Let Them Walk Alone."

The Auxiliary performs key functions by advocating and advancing Pro-Police movement causes, providing support to sick or injured members’ families, participating in charity events, and promoting unity within the Lodge Family.

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, the Auxiliary Officers were installed at the Pennsylvania State FOP Lodge in Mechanicsburg. PA State National Trustee Ann Cammerota performed the installation service. She was joined by EB Jermyn Lodge No. 2 Treasurer Michael Camerota, and EB Jermyn Auxiliary Lodge No. 2 President Mae Keiper.

West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte Fundraiser

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte was killed in the line of duty while responding to an Active Threat at the UPMC Hospital in York, PA, where a gunman had taken hostages. Officer Duarte heroically lost his life defending his community. He had just turned 30 years old a few days before he was killed.

Lebanon Lodge No. 42, Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, is committed to assisting the family members of Officers in crisis, and when they have made the ultimate sacrifice. The Auxiliary is partnering with “The Popcorn Loft” in York, www.thepopcornloft.com, to raise funds for Officer Duarte’s family.

The sale will run until April 18, 2025, with delivery expected a week later. The Auxiliary will deliver the popcorn to each participating Department. Sale sheets will be delivered to each Department and are also available on the Auxiliary page of the website, www.foplebanon42.com. Officer Duarte’s family will receive 20% of the sales, with the Auxiliary receiving 15%. The Auxiliary has determined to also donate their 15% to the Duarte family. We have a goal of $100 in sales for each Department, but hope for more.
